On Tuesday January 16th David Alexander Sagraves joined the Sagraves family. Here are the details on Alex.
Born at 12:39 PM
21 1/2 inches long
7lbs 9oz at birth
Krista is recovering well after about 4 hours of labor. The only potential road bump is that Krista is strep b positive. Alex (keep wanting to say Andy) has consistently grunted since we was first born. Kelly League and the Docs explained that this was because he was having a bit of pain in breathing. They have done blood work and it appears he could have a small infection. We are awaiting more blood work to see if they will move him to the NICU for more consistent IV fluids and meds. We would covet your prayers for Alex as we continue to get more info on his situation. It would also be our desire to not be anxious about any potential issues with Alex.
Based on our past history with Andy it has been a pleasure to just hold Alex and admire him.

WOW! He is so long and handsome! Krista looks beautiful as well. We will pray that Alex's breathing will become unlabored and that the infection will subside. What a beautiful family!
