Heart Cath

Andy just got out of surgery. Things went well. In the past they have had problems getting access through an artery to look at the heart. This time they were able to get access immediately so they didn't have to stick him several times. They allowed Dave to go back to see him immediately so Andy didn't wake up in a strange place by himself. They ended up having to sedate him again because he woke up pretty upset. So for now he is resting well. Please pray for him that he would recover well.

The results are about the same. His pressures are around the 30's. Not bad but not completely normal. We are thankful for no surprizes. Although we would have loved to get "new" news of lower pressures we are thankful for where Andy's pressures are and realise we could have recieved bad news. So we will continue down the same route with Flolan and Revatio. Thank you for your prayers.

Andy is going in for his heart cath on thursday. Please pray for him that he would get through the heart cath and recovery with no complication and that we would recieve good news from the results. Please also pray for Dave and I. Dave will be taking Andy alone due to the fact that I am on bedrest. Ths is hard for me to think that I will be at home while my son is going in for surgery. It is also tough on Dave to be in the hospital with Andy alone. I will post either late thursday or early friday to share the results of the cath and how Andy and Dave are doing.
